私たちらしいヘイジーを探求する「HAZY GOOD」第二弾。海外産ホップはシトラ、ネルソンソーヴィン、ネクタロンを使用し、遠野産ホップとしてカスケードの非加熱ルプリンパウダーを組み合わせました。GOOD HOPSとして過去最大量のホップを使用し、華やかで立体的な香りを引き出しています。ももや白ぶどう、柑橘を思わせる複層的なフルーティーさが広がり、渋みのない飲みやすい後味に仕上げました。

前作「HAZY GOOD #1」は、遠野産ホップ100％で仕込んだヘイジーペールエールでした。
本作「HAZY GOOD #2」では、海外産ホップを取り入れながら、私たちらしいヘイジーのあり方を引き続き探求しています。今回はスタイルをヘイジーIPAとしました。

ベースとなる香りには海外産ホップのペレットを用い、口に含んだ後、ボディで広がるアロマを重視した設計としています。
さらに、遠野産カスケードの非加熱ルプリンパウダーを使用し、海外産ホップの香りにフレッシュなニュアンスを重ねることで、香りに複層的な奥行きを与えました。

ホップの持つ華やかさを中心に構成しながらも、後味には渋みやえぐみを残さず、すっきりと飲みやすいヘイジーIPAに仕上げています。

HOPS: Tono-grown Cascade, American Citra, New Zealand Nelson Sauvin & Nectaron, Tono-grown Saaz

This is the second release in HAZY GOOD, our ongoing exploration of what a haze can be—our way. We use overseas hops such as Citra, Nelson Sauvin, and Nectaron, combined with a non-heated lupulin powder made from Tono-grown Cascade hops. This beer features the largest hop charge ever used by GOOD HOPS, drawing out a vibrant and multi-dimensional aroma. Layers of fruit-forward character unfold, reminiscent of peach, white grape, and citrus, finishing with a smooth, easy-drinking profile free of harsh bitterness.

The previous release, HAZY GOOD #1, was a hazy pale ale brewed using 100% Tono-grown hops. With HAZY GOOD #2, we continue exploring our own interpretation of haze while incorporating overseas hops. This time, we chose the Hazy IPA style. For the base aroma, we use overseas hop pellets and designed the beer to emphasize the aromas that unfold through the body after it reaches the palate. In addition, a non-heated lupulin powder made from Tono-grown Cascade hops is layered onto the overseas hop profile, adding fresh nuances and creating a more complex, multi-layered aromatic depth. While the beer is built around the vibrant character of hops, it finishes cleanly and smoothly, without harsh bitterness or astringency, resulting in an easy-drinking Hazy IPA.
